WHAT: Please join Mullanphy PTO in celebrating fall with a Pumpkin Decorating Contest!!

$1 for students and $2 for Staff to enter contest.

WHO: All PreK-5 students who are interested are invited to find and decorate a pumpkin at home to show off their creativity! Mullanphy Staff are welcome to participate as well, in a separate adult category competition.

WHERE: All pumpkins will be submitted and displayed in Mullanphy hallways for the contest. A table will be set up in the Main Hallway near the Library for pumpkin drop off.  Please write the student’s first and last name on the bottom of the pumpkin with a permanent marker.  Winners will be showcased on the school’s website. 

WHEN: Pumpkins are due Wednesday, October 30th. Students will bring their pumpkins to school. Judging will be held on Thursday, October 31st.  Pumpkins must be taken home on Friday, November 1^st.  (All pumpkins not taken home will be thrown away so they do not attract bugs over the weekend.)

Prizes: One winner from each category, Student and Adult. ($20 gift card)

ABSOLUTELY NO CARVED PUMPKINS!!! Carved pumpkins rot, attract bugs, and smell. Pumpkins may be painted, dressed, accessorized, etc. Let your creativity soar!

Pumpkins will be judged according to the following categories:

• Most original
