We, the Mechanical Modernization Project team would like to welcome all of the new principals. Exciting things are happening in your buildings. By November 2009 central air conditioning and heating will be completed in all seven (7) schools.
These newsletters are designed to keep you up to date and help you share with staff, parents and the community information on the air conditioning projects and progression.

Beaumont — Installation of the fan coils are complete; new in-lay ceilings in the corridors are nearing completion; new fire alarm system has been replaced; new domestic water heating systems are ready, new kitchen steam boilers have been installed.
Total project is 77% complete.
Carr Lane — Air handing units have been installed and are operational; classroom door changes have been completed; window air conditioning are being removed. The central air conditioning unit is operational.
Total project is 87%complete.
McKinley — Classroom door changes have been completed; fire pump has been installed; fire alarm system annunciation and detection device replacement is currently being installed.
Total project is 83% complete.
Roosevelt — Cooling tower installation in progress; piping installation in tunnels completed and insulated; fire alarm system and detectors are being upgraded.
Total project is 90% complete.
Soldan — Cooling tower installation is complete; fire alarm panel upgraded and operational; rooftop units installed.
Total project is 89% complete.
Sumner — Piping installation for VAV box heating water is completed; Cooling tower installation will be completed over summer break; fire alarm panel upgraded and operational.
Total project is 91% complete.
