Due to the forecast for heavy winds and the potential for severe weather in the Richmond region, including possible tornadoes, Maggie L. Walker Governor\u2019s School will operate virtually tomorrow. This decision aligns with several of our partner divisions that have also announced building closures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To preserve our required instructional hours, we will follow a modified virtual schedule consisting of 20-minute synchronous class sessions with short breaks between classes. Teachers may also assign up to 20 minutes of additional asynchronous work that can be completed offline, recognizing the possibility of weather-related power outages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
