I used to think that anticipation was something only students experienced. But over the years, I\u2019ve learned it\u2019s a feeling educators know well, too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We\u2019ve spent weeks in preparation: orientations, board meetings, professional development, and planning. By the time Friday arrives, we\u2019re exhausted.&nbsp; But, we are still buzzing with anticipation. We\u2019ve been working toward this moment, eager for our classrooms and hallways to be filled with energy and learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On Monday morning, the doors will open, and we\u2019ll greet our Dragons with smiles, warmth, and the promise of a new year. Our teams will be at the bus loops and stationed around campus to guide and support students, making sure every arrival feels welcome and every question finds an answer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year, we\u2019ll continue to live the Walker Way. We will show courage\u00a0when we face challenges, compassion\u00a0in the way we care for one another, community\u00a0in how we embrace and celebrate our differences, and collaboration\u00a0as we work together toward common goals. These aren\u2019t just ideals; they\u2019re the everyday actions that define who we are.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here\u2019s to living the Walker Way. The 2025\u20132026 school year is here. Let\u2019s make it a remarkable one.
