On December 13th, from 5:30 to 7:00 PM, FIRST\u00a0<\/em>Robotics Team 422: The Mech Tech Dragons, from Maggie L. Walker Governor\u2019s School<\/strong>\u00a0will be hosting an event for the public and educational officials to visit our campus, interact with our team, tour our technical room, and learn about our initiatives for the upcoming year. Through the\u00a0Legislative Open House<\/strong>, the Mech Tech Dragons hope to further our mission of highlighting and promoting STEM in our community by raising awareness! Our efforts are enhanced by political support and policy, and your presence would be greatly appreciated.\u00a0Please RSVP by responding at\u00a0team422.mechtechs@gmail.com<\/a>\u00a0before December 6th if possible,<\/strong>\u00a0and please let us know if you have any questions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

FIRST stands for\u00a0For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology,\u00a0<\/em>and is a national organization that prepares young people for the future through a suite of inclusive, team-based robotics programs.
