Nguyen began his wrestling journey in fifth grade at the River City Wrestling Club and continued with the Wilder Middle School Wrestling team. His current record is 14 &#8211; 5, and he has placed third in his weight class in the Patrick Henry 3rd Annual Patriot Revolution Invitational and the Godwin Holiday Invitational. Nguyen chose to be a wrestler because it challenges and pushes him to be better. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The wrestling team is coached by Don Blanton.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Outside of wrestling, he plays the trumpet for the Maggie Walker Band; outside of school, he plays the drums. Aside from his musical interests, Nguyen is also a Boy Scout and is currently working towards becoming an Eagle Scout.
