Dear Newest Maggie Walker Families,<\/p>\n

Congratulations on your admission to the Maggie L. Walker Governor’s School! We are excited about your opportunity to learn and grow with us during the next four years.<\/p>\n

The New Student Registration Evening is scheduled for Wednesday, March 27th, and will be held in person at 6 pm in the auditorium.  During Future Dragon Days, earlier in March, we distributed a welcome packet to our newest students. The information included in the welcome packet is available at the school counseling webpage<\/strong><\/a> <\/span>as well.<\/p>\n

Please plan to arrive a few minutes early as parking can be challenging. Make sure to bring your completed Rising 9th Grader Course Registration Form<\/strong> to obtain department signatures and register for classes.<\/span><\/p>\n

Please read through all of the documents as they have important information about class selection and info about our school. In particular, make sure to look at the Placement Tests PDF to see which online placement tests you will need to take. The deadline for these tests are prior to the registration night; it will be important to complete the tests on time so that you will know what classes to select.<\/span><\/p>\n
