\"Student<\/a> On Friday, November 5th, the Visual Arts Dept. and Visual Arts Boosters are hosting our annual Fall Art Walk event in conjunction with Richmond\u2019s First Fridays.  One of the objectives of our art curriculum is to have the students \u201cbe aware of and participate in the local arts community\u201d. First Friday is the night when the art galleries on Broad Street and Main Street all open for the evening so there will be much artwork to enjoy!<\/p>\n

To begin the evening, our wonderful Visual Arts Boosters are hosting a reception from 5:30 \u2013 6 pm. Please join us for light \u201ctake away\u201d snacks and fellowship prior to heading out to the galleries.  We will give everyone maps of the galleries and Coach Hall will take anyone who would like to join him around to some specific exhibitions.<\/p>\n

To help avoid having to park downtown, we will have a school bus which will run a circuit from the Main Street galleries to the Broad Street galleries and then back to school.  The bus will continue to loop this circuit throughout the evening until the last pickup at 9:00 pm.  This way you may stay for as long (or as short) as you like.  Details will be discussed that evening.<\/p>\n

If you\u2019ve never had the opportunity to participate in an RVA First Fridays Art Walk \u2013 or even if you have \u2013 we\u2019d love to see you at our event! It\u2019s always a very fun evening. All are welcome (students, parents, family members, & faculty)!<\/p>\n

            <\/strong>When: <\/strong> November 5, 5:30 pm \u2013 9:00 pm<\/p>\n

            <\/strong>Where:<\/strong> Meet in the adjunct classroom (room #153, outside the Bluestone Lobby) to enjoy light snacks and refreshments.<\/p>\n
