\"\"<\/a>Praise to Dr. Lowerre, Kerry Sheppard, Ed Coleman, Mike Brown, Dickson Benesh, John Piersol, Connie Hill, and the senior class officers for co-hosting a memorable Senior Night last night.<\/p>\n

The auditorium was packed with masked seniors and parents, the audience like riverbanks beside the wide currents of seniors in the center.<\/p>\n

A few parents chose to stand against the back wall. Yet although some \u2013 parents and students – looked a bit uneasy in such a crowd, most had smiles in their eyes.<\/p>\n

Dr. Lowerre got choked up as he greeted the seniors with, \u201cIt\u2019s great to see you here. It\u2019s really<\/em> great to see you here\u201d \u2013 and a round of spontaneous applause erupted.  I\u2019d already gotten choked up during the singing of the national anthem, so I could empathize with what Dr. Lowerre was feeling.<\/p>\n

Every student who attended got their moment on stage and their round of applause. As their slide popped up, those not able to be present got applauded too.  Hearing Ed, Mike, Dickson, and Connie give voice to their classmates\u2019 words like \u201cDude!\u201d and \u201cI love you so much!\u201d sparked laughter several times. A sense of gratitude and hope permeated the room.<\/p>\n

Congratulations as well to our faculty parents of graduating seniors: Dickson Benesh, Jeff Hall, and Heather Kemmerly.<\/p>\n
