Stakeholders may review and comment on both the current 2015-2017 Addendum to the Educational Technology Plan for Virginia: 2010-2015 and the proposed outline for the Educational Technology Plan for Virginia: 2017-2022. Comments will be received from January 30, 2017, to March 1, 2017.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.doe.virginia.gov\/support\/technology\/edtech_plan\/index.shtml\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/www.doe.virginia.gov\/support\/technology\/edtech_plan\/index.shtml<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The VDOE is also seeking individuals who are qualified and available to participate in small focus group meetings in early March.\u00a0All those interested in participating should complete the short Interest Form below.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Interest Form<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Participation in a Focus Group regarding the <\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Educational Technology Plan for Virginia: 2017-2022<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Three separate focus groups will be held on March 1, 2, and 3 in Richmond, Virginia at the James Monroe Building, 101 N. 14<sup>th<\/sup> Street.\u00a0 Participants will be invited to participate in one of the focus group meetings during those three dates.\u00a0 Focus Groups will be asked to provide insight on: 1) the effectiveness of the previous technology plan (2015-2017 Addendum to the Educational Technology Plan for Virginia: 2010-2015); 2) the elements necessary to support school divisions in the next technology plan (Educational Technology Plan for Virginia: 2017-2022); and 3) how educational technology can most effectively support the future of our children.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<table>\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"638\">Name:<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"638\">Email:<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"638\">U.S. Mailing address (if no email address available):<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"638\">Location in the state where you live (closest town\/city):<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"638\">Why do you have an interest in educational technology?
