In order to register for Levels 3, 4, or Pre-AP of French, German, Latin, or Spanish, incoming freshmen \u00a0must complete a written language proficiency assessment.\u00a0 The assessment allows our language teachers to place students in a language level in line with their zone of proximal development.\u00a0 The evaluation will take place at Maggie L. Walker Governor\u2019s School on Saturday, April 18th<\/sup> at 10 o\u2019clock. Please arrive no later than 9:45 in the Blue Stone Lobby (Elizabeth Street).\u00a0 The assessment will take no longer than one hour.\u00a0 Please make every effort to be here so that registration will run smoothly on April 27th<\/sup>.\u00a0 If you are unable to attend, please contact the chair of our International Language Department (Dawn Grois) at dgrois@gsgis.k12.va.us<\/a>.<\/p>\n
