The Walker Way<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Walker Way is a set of shared values that guides the culture and daily life of the Maggie L. Walker Governor\u2019s School. It reflects the belief that excellence is grounded in character and in thoughtful care for both self and community. These values promote responsible citizenship and ethical leadership, including courage in the face of challenge, compassion for others, a commitment to community, and collaboration in pursuit of meaningful goals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These principles shape how students learn, how they interact with one another, and how they engage with the world. They encourage curiosity, respectful dialogue, responsible decision making, and a strong sense of belonging. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Community<\/strong> \u201cThe Walker Way\u201d means understanding and accepting differences, but also acknowledging and celebrating the connectedness of the human experience.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Collaboration<\/strong> \u201cThe Walker Way\u201d means harmoniously working together and using critical thinking skills to achieve a common goal.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
