{"id":16653,"date":"2014-01-08T08:39:55","date_gmt":"2014-01-08T13:39:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mlwgs.com\/?page_id=16653"},"modified":"2025-12-16T12:49:15","modified_gmt":"2025-12-16T17:49:15","slug":"honor-code","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/mlwgs.com\/about\/honor-code\/","title":{"rendered":"Honor Code"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns alignwide is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-28f84493 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Honor Council aims to:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">serve as an ally to the student body by educating the community on honor and acting as a resource for matters related to academic integrity;<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">enforce a sense of mutual respect in the community by promoting accountability and instilling principles of honor within students that will stay with students throughout their lives<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><em>Policy 4000 defines the Maggie Walker honor code and is the primary resource in matters related to student integrity. This document includes the statement of honor and describes how students are responsible for upholding their commitment to honor by avoiding lying, cheating, and stealing. Policy 4000 also describes the roles of teachers, administrators, and parents in sustaining Maggie Walker\u2019s community of trust.
