SUMMARY:Senior Awards Assembly (Auditorium)
DESCRIPTION:The Senior Awards Assembly will be held in the MLWGS Auditorium on Thursday\, May 8 at 1PM.  Here is how we expect the day to unfold…\n\n-Fewer than 20 students will be taking the AP Statistics exam in the morning.  Our school is not administering any AP exams on this particular afternoon.\n\n-At 12:40PM\, seniors will be photographed (wearing college shirts) on the steps facing Lombardy.\n\n-At 12:50PM\, seniors will be dismissed from the steps to the (front seats) of the Auditorium.\n\n-At 12:55PM\, an announcement will be made to dismiss freshmen (with their belongings) to the (back rows) of the Auditorium; they will observe the Senior Awards Assembly.\n\n-The Senior Awards Assembly will run from 1PM to approximately 1:45PM.\n\n-Around 1:45PM\, freshmen will be released from the Auditorium to 8th block class.\n\n-Soon after arriving to 8th block\, an announcement will be made to dismiss juniors to the (front seats of the) Auditorium; their belongings should remain in 8th block.  Seniors will be released from the Auditorium around 2PM (with the expectation that they’ll report straight to 8th block).\n\n-Around 2PM\, an announcement will be made to dismiss sophomores to the (back rows of the) Auditorium; they will observe the distribution of Junior Book Awards\, and their belongings should stay back in their 8th block classrooms.\n\n-We expect the Junior Awards Books Assembly to end at 2:55PM—10th and 11th graders will be dismissed to their 8th block classrooms at that time.\n\nWe hope this information is helpful (ahead of working with your 6th and 8th block classes in the weeks ahead).  We appreciate everyone’s partnership in sharing your students and class time for the purpose of recognizing and encouraging our Dragons at these assemblies.
