Annually VDOE is required to prepare and distribute to local school boards information describing educational and other services available to students who are deaf, hard of hearing, or visually impaired. School boards are required to post this information on school division websites annually and to inform the parents of students who are identified as deaf, hard of hearing, or visually impaired of the availability of such services.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

In accordance with \u00a7 22.1-217.01 (Special education transition; identification of faculty member responsible for school transition and planning coordination), each public high school in the Commonwealth shall publicly identify on its official website the faculty member responsible for special education transition planning and coordination at such high school.
