March is Youth Art Month, a celebration of visual art!  Youth Art Month helps recognize art programs in schools and the skills that are developed while participating in visual arts; problem solving, creativity, observation, and communication. The High School Art Club celebrates YAM by starting the month off with Art Week.  Similar to Homecoming and Courtwarming, the Art Club hosts dress up days for each day of the week. 

YAM 2018 Art Week

Monday: "Monday" Lisa Day - wear your pajamas!

Tuesday: Peace, Love, and Art Day - Wear your Art Club T-shirt and/or dress like a hippie !

Wednesday: Salvador Dali Mustache Day - wear a sweet mustache just like Dali!

Thursday: Art Advocacy Button Day - wear buttons supporting the arts.  

Friday: Meme Day - dress as your favorite meme! 

Buttons of all kinds will be sold today and Friday during lunch for $1.00 each.

You will also be able to create your own unique buttons to purchase.
