Cinco De Mayo is the Mexican holiday that celebrates the date of the Mexican's army victory over France at the battle of Puebla during the Franco-Mexican War. 6th Grade Art students celebrated Cinco De Mayo (The 5th of May) by creating Mexican Maracas. Students then worked as a class to turn their musical crafts into music.
