Students enrolled in Fashion Merchandising class are busy completing personal color analyses. Using the "Color Me Beautiful" color analysis kit, students have started the process of determining what Season they fit into based on skin tone, hair color, and eye color. Students begin by draping a white sheet around their neck and then hold various color swatches up to their chin/cheek to determine which colors enhance their features and which colors tend to "wash them out." Once students complete their analysis, they will determine their color Season and then explain how this can be used in their personal shopping experiences, how knowing your seasonal color pallet may affect consumer buying motives, as well as how employees in the fashion industry can use seasonal color pallets to their advantage.
