South Korea: Sam, Mikayla, and Mason

Students from Mrs. Stobbe’s Nutrition and Wellness classes have been spending the last few weeks researching various world cuisines. Groups researched diverse countries and created tri-fold boards, brochures, prepared a sample dish, and presented to their classmates. When asked what they liked most about the World Foods project, students replied:

“I really enjoyed trying the new foods from different countries. I tried sauerkraut lasagna from Germany, cream puffs from France, and Kourabiedes cookies from Greece.” – Rachel B.

“It was very interesting to try the different tastes and ingredient mixtures.” – Mikayla M.

“It’s like a little bit of each region and country was here.” - Krista F.

“We chose Italy and I love Italian culture. It’s influential to the rest of the world.” – Anthony S.

“I loved that the project was challenging, but enjoyable. It was unique compared to my regular assignments.” – Alexis S.

“I enjoyed how the project opened people’s eyes to different cultural cuisines.” – Mason H.
