FCCLA completed 2 of the chapter's yearly community service projects. In November, FCCLA members helped prepare and serve food for the annual Thanksgiving dinner at the PC Cafe. Eight members from the FCCLA chapter were involved in serving and preparing. Students enjoyed interacting and helping individuals from our community.
In December, FCCLA members worked together to adopt-a-family for the Christmas season. Members volunteered to buy and wrap various gifts for a family in our community. It's always important for our student groups to serve others. Martin Luther King Jr. said it best, "Everyone can be GREAT, because everyone can serve." The Putnam County FCCLA looks forward to doing some more GREAT things for our community in 2013!
