Extended School Year

Extended School Year (ESY) services are offered for students who demonstrate severe or substantial regression in any area(s) addressed in their IEP goals and who also demonstrates a limited capacity to recoup skills in the area(s) within a reasonable time. Other critical factors that are considered may include nature and severity or disability, self-sufficiency to achieve independence, child's rate of progress, availability of resources, support in the home, and ability to interact with other children.

Extended School Year Services
