In Collaboration with the Sisters 2 Sisters Program from the Poughkeepsie High School, the Community Schools Department has created the Sisters of Steel in Clinton Elementary. This upcoming program will empower the young ladies from the third grade and enhance their social skills, boosting their confidence/self-esteem while engaging in lifelong learning opportunities, both inside and outside the classroom. The third-grade girls will have a role model, but it will also create a mentorship program for the High School ladies to develop leadership for future purposes.
