2nd FAFSA Workshop of the year, a complete success!
The 2nd FAFSA Workshop of the year, held on February 8th, was a complete success. It was the most well attended FAFSA Night since before COVID! Over 25 students came with one or both parents/ guardians. Almost every student walked out of the packed library with their FAFSA completed. With the help of the Dutchess Community College Financial Services office, students and their parents/guardians worked on this important step in the college process.
The next two FAFSA Workshops are scheduled for March 2nd and April 13th from 5-7PM in the PHS Library. It is critical for all college-bound seniors to complete this financial aid application. Filing a FAFSA is the single most important thing you can do to get money for college. It's the gateway to college grants, work-study funds, and federal student loans, as well as certain state-based aid. See you March 2nd!
