What's next in line?
While there are still projects to be completed under funding for Proposition 1, conceptual work on Proposition 2's Educational Pathways Program is slated to begin in October 2021.
Meetings with user groups and the public are being planned.
2022
Summer 2022 will see roof restoration and replacement work begin at Warring Elementary School and Poughkeepsie High School along with boiler replacements at Smith, Morse, Clinton, Krieger, Warring and Poughkeepsie Middle School.
ELC, Clinton, Warring, PHS and the administration building will also get restroom renovations.
Also during the summer, exterior doors and windows at Warring Elementary school will be replaced and the emergency generator at PHS will be replaced.
These projects will all be submitted to the state for review by early November.
2023
Krieger Elementary School and Poughkeepsie Middle School are scheduled to have roof restoration and replacement work along with restroom renovations done in the summer of 2023. Morse restrooms will also undergo renovation work.
All construction work is subject to the approval of the New York State Education Department. Plans are expected to be submitted for review by early November.
