Why is parent involvement so important? The research overwhelmingly demonstrates that parent involvement has a direct positive impact on student achievement. The research also shows that the earlier parent involvement begins, the more powerful the effects will be. There is no better time than now to get involved in your child’s education. Remember, you are your child’s first teacher.
