Middle States Accreditation
Posted on 11/27/2019
Dear Piscataway High School Parent/Guardian:
Every seven years, Piscataway High School participates in a Middle States peer review process in order to continue our accreditation from the Middle States Association Commission on Elementary & Secondary Schools. This accreditation is important to the value of our students’ education. It impacts the colleges our students can enroll in, the financial aid they can apply for, and other important academic components.
We are currently in the self-study phase of our process, during which we look at ourselves through a variety of lenses to see what we are doing well and where we need to grow to best provide for all of our students.
Teachers and students have already been asked to take surveys, and now we ask you, the parents and guardians, to participate by taking the Piscataway High School Middle States Standards for Schools: Parents survey. This a voluntary survey, and your responses are completely anonymous.
Please read the directions carefully and answer the questions honestly and to the best of your ability. If you do not know the answer to a specific question, you are welcome to skip that question.
We encourage you to leave specific comments; these will be used to assist us as we move forward through the accreditation process. The deadline to complete the survey is December 6th, 2019.
Finally, we want to have parents involved. If you would like to be a part of the process beyond taking the survey, we welcome you to join our team. Please contact our Middle States Co-Coordinators: Craig Hoek ([email protected]) and Nadyne Busichio ([email protected]) if you would like additional details.
