The Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo had its second round of judging for all high school art students in the district of Pasadena. We are SUPER excited to announce that 3 Rayburn students whose artwork was chosen by the School Art Committee, advanced to the next level of judging called the Grand Prix Round. And for the 10th consecutive year, a Rayburn student dominated the show by receiving Best of Show! In addition, we had a student awarded a Gold Medal and another student awarded a Special Merit.
The Special Merit Award went to Adair Gonzalez.
The Gold Medal Award went to Larixa Garcia.
And the 2022 Best of Show was awarded to Iris Valdez!!!
