Pasadena ISD Edu. Foundation Celebrates National Nonprofit Day, Aug. 17
Pasadena ISD is celebrating National Nonprofit Day, Aug. 17th, to raise awareness about the district’s Education Foundation and its impact on students and teachers.
The Education Foundation is a 501(c)(3) made up of community members, administrators, staff and alumni who lend their time and talents to support students and teachers through fundraising efforts and volunteer work.
Through overwhelming community support, the Foundation’s annual signature events, such as the McDonald’s Texas Invitational Basketball and Golf Tournaments, Athletics Hall of Fame, Shining Stars, along with proceeds gathered through our Cornerstone Club and more, the organization continuously gives back to students and staff.
Over the years, the Foundation has awarded $3.1 million to Pasadena ISD educators in the form of 822 mini-grants since the organization was founded in 2003. The mini grant application kick off starts in mid-September and the deadline to complete an application is Oct, 13
The Pasadena ISD Education Foundation is asking the community and its donors for their support by following their Facebook page to keep up with the Foundation.
