Good evening, As you know, Governor Abbott has decided to keep school buildings closed for the remainder of the school year.  We will continue Distance Learning for the remainder of the year.  Our Keller staff and myself all miss seeing our students back at Keller, but we definitely want to be sure that everyone stays safe during this time.  We will do everything we can to help your child be successful during this time. To help with this, it is important for students to still follow a schedule and go to bed at a decent time.  This will allow them to be awake and working when their teachers are available beginning at 9am.  It is very important for students to check their email every day.  Their teachers will send the class updates and invites to their video tutoring through email. On Friday, April 24, I will have an online Coffee Talk at 10am.  I will go through updates and be able to answer any questions that you have.  I will send the link Thursday night. Also, please make sure that you complete Census 2020.  This information determines how much federal funding our schools and community will receive.  Please make sure that everyone gets counted! Please check out our Keller Distance Learning site.  Many of your questions can be answered here. If students have issues with their computer, PISD’s Tech Services are available to help Mondays and Fridays from 10am-6pm at the Orozco Center.  It is located on the corner of Pasadena and the Beltway. You can also submit an online Help Desk ticket. If you have any questions, you can email me anytime.  You can ask questions through Messenger on Facebook, or you can call the school (713-740-5284) between 10am and 2pm every day, and someone will answer your call.  Don't forget to "like" Keller Middle School on Facebook. We will post any updates on our Facebook page, as well as on our school website. This is definitely a challenging time.  I appreciate your help in your child’s academic success.  Please let me know if there is anything that I can do to help.  We will get through this together.  Wishing you and your family health and safety. Have a good day, Dan Eble Principal, Keller Middle School

Good evening, Thank you for a great start to distance learning!  I know it is challenging, but together we can do this! All students need to check their email every day.  This is the main way for our teachers to communicate with the students, and setup their video tutoring.  Please remind your child to check their email daily. Teachers will be available to help students online daily at 9-11am, and 1-3pm.  They will do this in a variety of ways: responding to emails, hosting video tutoring, providing extra resources, and regular phone calls. If you have not heard from anyone at Keller, please let me know.  We may not have the correct contact information in our system.  We want to make sure that any questions that you have can be answered. If students have issues with their computer, PISD’s Tech Services are available to help Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 10am-2pm at the Orozco Center.  It is located on the corner of Pasadena and the Beltway. If you need Internet access, you can find the link on Keller's homepage about access provided by Comcast or XFinity. There is a change to breakfast and lunch this week.  You can pick up breakfast and lunch on Monday and Thursday only.  You will receive 3 days of meals on Monday, and 4 days of meals on Thursday.  You can go to Kendrick and Shaw Middle Schools from 9am-10:30am, or to any of the traditional high schools from 11:30am-1:00pm.
