The Coordinated School Health Whole School Whole Community Whole Child (WSCC) developed by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the ASCD organization includes 10 interconnecting components. Each component makes an important contribution to students' well-being and readiness to learn. With a coordinated approach, the components compliment each other and have a greater impact than each piece could have by itself.
Pasadena ISD has adopted CATCH USA as the Coordinated School Health Program in grades K-8.
