Magnet Description

Providing opportunities for students to incorporate local and global issues through hands-on experiments and activities focused on real-world challenges and solutions, this magnet prepares students to engage actively in learning.

The combined international-mindedness approach, student service opportunities, academic rigor and STEM-centered activities provide educational avenues to cultivate and to develop students for higher education and 21st Century careers.

Participating students enter the magnet in Kindergarten, with placement in all other grades as space permits.

Please note that bus transportation is not provided for this magnet.

Specific Eligibility Requirements: Applicant’s schedule must be able to accommodate magnet classes.
