The Curriculum for Students with a Significant Cognitive Disability is the Florida Standards Access Points for ELA and Math and the Next Generation Sunshine State Standards Access Points (NGSSS) for Science and Social Studies
K-12 ELA and Mathematics Access Points can either be found on the FLDOE CPALMS website or on the Access Project website.

What about Life Work, Independent Functioning, Social/Emotional Behavior and Communication?
Even though the ELA, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies Access Points have replaced the Sunshine State Standards for Special Diploma in the area of Functional Academics and Problem Solving, teachers should still be teaching the domains of: Life Work, Independent Functioning, Social/Emotional Behavior and Communication until access points are written for these areas.
