Local Developing Business (LDB) Eligibility
To be certified as a Local Developing Business (LDB), a firm must meet the following criteria:
- The company’s principal place of business must be in one of four counties:
Orange, Osceola, Lake or Seminole.
- The net worth of each of the company’s individual owners cannot exceed $750,000.
- The firm’s revenue cannot exceed the revenue limitations during the three preceding years. (The three prior years are averaged.)
Minority or Woman-Owned Business Enterprise (MWBE) Eligibility
To be certified as a Minority or Woman-Owned Business (MWBE), a firm must meet the following criteria:
- Be at least 51% owned by one or more individuals who are socially and economically disadvantaged.
- Be managed and operated by the socially and economically disadvantaged individual referenced above.
Veteran-Owned Business Enterprise (VBE) Eligibility
To be certified as a VBE, a firm must be at least 51% owned, managed and controlled by a US Veteran.
