Our final nine weeks is here! We’ll be teaching and learning—and CELEBRATING SUCCESS TOGETHER—with testing mixed in as well! Some of our students will be taking FSA and/or End of Course (EOC) exams, and there will also be Common Final Exams (CFE) for students in courses that aren’t tested by state assessments. Throughout it all, we’ll continue to be focused on learning and student success!

I’m sure you’ve heard about legislative changes that will affect testing for us, beginning next school year. We’ll be able to provide clarification, as we receive information. I can assure you that we’ll be flexible in our approach so students feel prepared for this new model.

Thank you to those families who participated in our Community Day! Thanks, again, to Mr. Scully, who coordinated the event and to our teachers and staff who prepared and helped to make the day memorable! From ESCAPE ROOMS to GAMES to BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION to ALUMNI SHARING SUCCESS
STORIES—Community Day started our Spring Break off right!

Thanks, too, if you’ve completed our annual survey! Each year, we use the results to improve our program. This year, there has been a continuous focus on school culture and social emotional learning throughout the district. I’m hoping that you’ve noticed changes and improvements too! I’ve recently been honored by the Orange County School Counselor Association as the High Principal of the Year! I’m so proud and humbled to be recognized among the other amazing leaders in OCPS in supporting our students! I pledge to you our continued dedication to promoting best practices for students and their teachers and staff!

As we begin to close our year out, we’ll continue to focus on helping every child be successful! With you partnering with us to support attendance and participation, we’ll meet our goals!

Stay safe, and LET’S KEEP CELEBRATING SUCCESS TOGETHER!

Sincerely,
