*Under Policy JC School Attendance Areas, the purpose of the community meetings is for staff to “explain the rezoning process, discuss factors considered for each proposed attendance zone, engage in discussion as to each proposal’s attributes, and obtain community feedback.” Depending on that community feedback, proposed attendance zone options presented may or may not move forward for consideration by the School Board. Note that members of the public will also have an opportunity to speak to the School Board at the Rule Development Workshop and at the Public Hearing.
