Transitional Kindergarten (TK):
Eligibility for TK has been expanded. Children who turn 5 between September 2, 2025, and September 1, 2026, are eligible to enroll.

We invite you to attend the TK Information Night on December 5, 2024, from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with registration assistance available from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

Kindergarten:
Children who turn 5 on or before September 1, 2025, may register for Kindergarten.

Please join us for the Kindergarten Information Night on December 12, 2024, from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with registration support from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

Both events will take place at the NUSD District Office, located at 1015 7th Street, Novato.

New Student Registration:
Registration for new students will open on November 1, 2024, for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year.

This is an excellent opportunity to prepare for a successful start to your child’s educational journey with NUSD.

We encourage you to mark your calendars and join us to learn more about these exciting programs and the enrollment process. We look forward to welcoming new students and families to our community.

Novato Unified School District, in partnership with Sonoma State University, has created an exciting educator pathway for individuals interested in becoming elementary teachers in both English-instruction and dual-immersion classrooms. We are launching Year 2 of this highly successful program.

Candidates will have the opportunity to participate in an intensive teacher preparation program at either Lynwood Dual Language Immersion School or Lu Sutton Elementary School. Interested candidates must have a bachelor’s degree or be in receipt of one in the Spring 2025.

]]> School Fuel – Tour of Novato https://nusd.org/school-fuel-tour-of-novato/ Fri, 03 May 2024 21:13:04 +0000 https://nusd.org/?p=40958 The Tour of Novato is an annual Novato-wide celebration of our schools, and a fundraiser to support them. This year, the event will return to Downtown Novato for a Community Fair celebration on Sherman Ave. and the Town Green. Choose from a Family Ride, a Classic Ride, or Downtown Walk. 100% of the money you raise goes to your designated NUSD school or club. There will also be weekly challenges and prizes. This is a great way to have some family fun and learn more about the Novato schools and community.

Novato School Fuel

About

The Tour of Novato is an annual Novato-wide celebration of our schools, and a fundraiser to support them. You can find out more about School Fuel at our foundation website.

When

You can sign up for the Tour of Novato and start fundraising at any time. We will have a Community Fair and group rides and a walk starting from the celebration venue on the City Green on May 10.

Packet/shirt/swag pick-up for registered participants will be from 2 pm to 6 pm in front of City Hall on May 09.

On May 10, here is the schedule for the day:

Event Registration opens at 8 am

Novato Classic Ride Begins at 9:00 am

Warm Up with Mr. Malone at 9:05 am

Family Ride begins at 9:30 am

History Walk Docent-led walks begin at 10:30am and 11:30am

Community Fair runs 10 am to 1 pm.
