REGULAR MEETING
The Northwest Allen County Board of School Trustees met in regular session on Monday, March 10, 2014 at 7;00 p.m. in the Central Office Board Room. Members present: Mary Wysong, Paul Sloffer, John Hilger, Ron Felger. Kent Somers was absent. Also present: Chris Himsel, Gloria Shamanoff, Bill Mallers, Lisa Harris, staff, students, patrons and reporters.
Motions herewith mentioned are unanimous unless otherwise stated.
President Mary Wysong called the meeting to order. Motion to approve the minutes of the February 24, 2014 executive session and regular meeting as presented by Paul Sloffer; seconded by John Hilger. Motion carried.

SUPERINTENDENT'S REPORT
- RESOLUTION TO REVISE THE 2013-14 SCHOOL CALENDAR Recommended approval of the enclosed Resolution to Revise the 2013-14 School Calendar. This Resolution is required per the Indiana State School Superintendent and Waiver Request form. Motion to approve by John Hilger; seconded by Ron Felger. Motion carried.
BUSINESS REPORT
- 2014 RE-ROOFING PROJECTS Recommended CMS Roofing, Inc. at a bid of $772,070 for the 2014 Carroll High School re-roofing project; and CMS Roofing, Inc. at a quote of $32,680 for the 2014 Arcola Elementary School re-roofing project. Motion to approve by Paul Sloffer; seconded by Ron Felger. Motion carried.
- TELEPHONE SERVICESRecommended the following for telephone services and alignment with E-rate: Earth Link for PRI services at $754.81 per month; Frontier Communications for business lines at $550.00 per month; Century Link for long distance services at $0.0274 per minute; and Verizon Wireless for cell phone services at $192.28 per month. Motion to approve by John Hilger; seconded by Ron Felger. Motion carried.
