The Northwest Allen County Board of School Trustees met in executive session on Monday, August 26, 2013, at 6:00 p.m. in the Central Office. Members present: Mary Wysong, John Hilger, Paul Sloffer, Ronald Felger and Kent Somers. Also present: Chris Himsel, Gloria Shamanoff and Bill Mallers

President Mary Wysong called the meeting to order. Motion to approve the minutes of the August 12, 2013 executive session and regular meeting as presented by Paul Sloffer; seconded by Ron Felger. Motion carried.

BUSINESS REPORT
- 2013 BUS PURCHASERecommended the purchase of four (4) 78-passenger Thomas conventional buses from Kerlin Bus Sales for$404,585.20 through the Central Indiana Education Service Center (CIESC)Cooperative
Purchasing bid program; and two (2) 14-passenger GM/Collins multi-function school activity buses
from Midwest Transit Equipment for $59,998.00; for a combined total of $464,583.20. Motion to approve by Paul Sloffer; seconded by John Hilger. Motion carried.
