Kindergarten & NEW incoming student Registration opens for the 2024-25 school year
This registration date is for Kindergartners and new to NACS students only. Registration for current NACS students will open later this year.
Enrollment Requirements
- The child must be at least 5 years old by Aug. 1 of the year s/he will begin school.
- The child must live within the NACS attendance area. Parents will be required to show proof of residency.
Enrollment Process
- Enrollment is handled at the individual school. This link is a Directory of NACS Schools with addresses and contact information.
- The following documentation is needed to enroll:
- Child's birth certificate - Board of Health copy, not the hospital version.
- Proof of residence as defined in the link, such as a gas/electric/water utility bill.
- Child's immunization records - requirements and a form are linked here.
- Health Information Form - linked here, complete and print.
- If applicable, court documents for custody or visitation arrangements. A copy of any legal documents regarding custody or visitation pertaining to the child such as custody papers, divorce decree or other court-ordered papers must be provided. Please be assured that this information is kept confidential. The court documents you provide should be the most recent and final copy of any court decree.
Incoming Kindergarten and Elementary Students - Grades K-5
- For incoming kindergarten students, traditionally a Kindergarten Roundup takes place for each school wherein students and families come visit their classrooms, meet teachers and staff as they tour the building. Principals will communicate details of opportunities for you to visit the school, or you may call the front office to inquire.
- For elementary students:
- Click the Create Account button to setup an account for this enrollment portal. (This is not the same as the PowerSchool portal for viewing grades or for updating fall registration details.)
- Once your account is created, you can use the Sign In section to get back in to complete the enrollment or to enroll another child.
- Be sure to choose the correct school year when completing this form to indicate if the child is enrolling to start yet this school year or for the fall.
- You will be asked to upload the documentation listed above while completing this form, or you can mail copies of those documents to the school separately.
- After completing the form, the school office will verify age and residency. You will be contacted with confirmation or for missing documentation.
- Once enrollment is complete, watch for details this Summer about in-person Registration dates, where families can pick up supplies, tour classrooms, and learn more about the school of enrollment.
Middle School Students - Grades 6-8
- Review the Attendance Areas link above to confirm which middle school your child will attend.
- Forms and further instructions are available on each school's New Student Enrollment page. The page will provide a link to our online enrollment form. Please complete it first, then contact the guidance office for an appointment to complete the enrollment process.
High School Students - Grades 9-12
- Visit our Carroll High School Enrollment page for information on enrolling.
- The page will provide a link to our online enrollment form. Please complete it first then contact the guidance office for an appointment to complete the enrollment process.
- If enrolling during the summer, please complete the enrollment process and appointment prior to August registration dates.
