REGULAR MEETING
The Northwest Allen County Board of School Trustees met in regular session on Monday, September 8, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. in the Central Office Board Room. Members present: Mary Wysong, John Hilger, and Ron Felger. Paul Sloffer and Kent Somers were absent. Also present: Chris Himsel, Gloria Shamanoff, Bill Mallers, Lisa Harris, staff and a reporter.
Motions herewith mentioned are unanimous unless otherwise stated.
President Mary Wysong called the meeting to order. Motion to approve the minutes of the August 25, 2014 regular meeting as presented by Ron Felger; seconded by John Hilger. Motion carried.
COMMENDATIONS
Gloria Shamanoff presented the following commendation: The National Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association recognized Carroll High School Swim and Dive Teams in their annual National Dual Meet Team Rankings. Carroll High Girls' Swim and Dive Team ranked 19th place in the nation and Carroll High Boys' Swim and Dive Team ranked 20th place in the nation.
Chris Himsel commended Rollie Clements, Carroll High Boys Soccer Coach, for his 400th career win.
