The Moses Lake School District is pleased to announce Lory Benavidez as the Assistant Principal for Frontier Middle School (Principal, Jake Long) starting the 2022-2023 school year.
Mrs. Benavidez is a proud graduate of Moses Lake High school. She has been a teacher in the Moses Lake School District for more than 15 years and served as an assistant principal for Garden Heights Elementary. She brings more than 7 years of administrative experience, frequenting Peninsula Elementary, Sage Point Elementary, and Knolls Vista Elementary as a substitute principal.
“I am so excited to be joining the staff at Frontier Middle School,” says Mrs. Benavidez. “It is a great school with amazing staff and students, and I am honored to be serving as their new assistant principal!”
Mrs. Benavidez and her husband of 27 years, Mark, love to travel to warm, tropical places and spend time with their family and friends. They have two adult children (and a new son-in-law) of whom they are very proud; their son, Jacob, who is a pilot in the United States Navy and their daughter, Rebecca, who is working toward her Education degree with a focus on teaching History at the secondary level.
