Jennifer Gonzalez, named Longview Elementary interim Principal

The Moses Lake School District is pleased to announce Jennifer Gonzalez as the Interim Principal for Longview Elementary School for the 2022-23 school year. Current Longview principal, Robbie Mason, has accepted the position as Interim Executive Director of Elementary Education for the coming school year.

Gonzalez brings more than 15 years of experience educating in Moses Lake, including teaching kindergarten, first grade and third grade as well as providing instructional support for para educators. She holds a master's degree in education with an emphasis on curriculum and instruction as well as K12 principal certification from Eastern Washington University, recently completing her principal internship at Longview Elementary school.

“I am extremely honored, humbled, and excited to have the opportunity to continue my work with Longview students, families, and staff,” says Gonzalez. “I myself attended Longview as a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grader!”

Gonzalez and her husband were born and raised in Moses Lake, where they continue to reside. She has a daughter, a Moses Lake High School alum, and a son, currently attending MLHS. She enjoys spending time with her friends and family– especially her energetic grandson, who will begin kindergarten this fall.

Please join the Board of Education and Moses Lake School District in welcoming Jennifer Gonzalez to her new position.
