Robin Kimbro named New Principal, Sage Point Elementary
The Moses Lake School District is pleased to announce that Robin Kimbro has agreed to terms to become the Principal of Sage Point Elementary, effective July 1, 2022, following the retirement of current principal, Noreen Thomas.
Mrs. Kimbro received her Bachelor’s degree and Master's degree in Teaching and Learning from Heritage University before earning her Principal Certification from Eastern Washington University.
With an educational career that spans more than 14 years, Mrs. Kimbro is dedicated to the Moses Lake community. Her experience includes teaching 1st, 4th, and 5th grades across North Elementary, Knolls Vista Elementary, and Peninsula Elementary as well as leadership roles as an instructional coach and interim principal and Peninsula.
Kimbro’s commitment to the Moses Lake School District has allowed her to create lasting relationships throughout our community. “I have already worked alongside many of the Sage Point staff,” Kimbro says. “These teachers and support staff do the BEST work for our students!”
Mrs. Kimbro and her husband of 31 years reside in Moses Lake. She has three children and enjoys spending time outdoors with her family– usually fishing or camping.
“I am thrilled to join Sage Point as its principal,” Kimbro said. “I look forward to meeting and providing support to all of the Sage Point Community.”
