Hochstatter named Executive Director of
Elementary Education and Student Support Services
Moses Lake, Washington– The Moses Lake School District is proud to announce that Triscia Hochstatter has agreed to terms to become the Executive Director of Elementary Education and Student Support Services, effective July 1, 2022.
Mrs. Hochstatter is the current principal of Moses Lake High School where she has served since 2019, though she has dedicated her career to the Moses Lake School District for nearly 30 years. Her former positions include Assistant Director of Teaching and Learning, Summer School Director, Assistant Principal at MLHS, Instructional Coach, and High School math teacher.
Hochstatter brings a wealth of teaching and administrative experience; earning a Bachelor’s degree from Seattle Pacific University, a Master’s degree in Curriculum & Instruction from the University of Oregon, and Principal Certification from Eastern Washington University.
Upon accepting the position, Mrs. Hochstatter says, “I’m very excited and honored to continue my journey with Moses Lake School District - a district I have been proud to be a part of for so many years. This district has always been committed to making improvements to increase student success for all students and I’m looking forward to continuing that path in this new role.”
The Executive Director of Elementary Education and Student Support Services supports the district’s strategic and operational goals, provides visionary leadership, and serves as the leader of the district's learning, data, and improvement efforts.
Prior to selecting a new principal, the District will seek input from Moses Lake High School staff regarding the selection process for this role. It is anticipated that the position will be posted at mlsd161.org within the next few weeks.
