Parent Waiver Required for Non-Traceable Communication

Per KRS 160.145, parents must complete a waiver for any employee or volunteer who communicates with their child outside of ParentSquare. 

Montgomery County Schools is committed to ensuring safe and transparent communication between school staff, volunteers, and students. In accordance with KRS 160.145, parents are now required to complete a waiver for each employee or volunteer who communicates with their child outside of the district’s traceable communication system.

Summer Feeding Program Returns for June & July

Free weekly meal pickup is available for all children 18 and under every Wednesday in June and July at McNabb Middle School. Meals include 7 breakfasts and 7 lunches per child. Children must be present to receive meals.

Montgomery County Schools is excited to announce the return of our Summer Feeding Program for June and July, thanks to our dedicated Nutrition Department.

When: Every Wednesday
Time: 12:30 PM – 2:30 PM
Where: Back parking lot of McNabb Middle School
(Enter from Indian Mound Drive)

Each week, families can pick up 7 breakfasts, 7  lunches, and 1 gallon of milk for every child 18 and under—at no cost.

Important Reminders:

  • Children must be present to receive meals. (The Kentucky Department of Education requires this.)

  • Children who receive meals at this location cannot pick up meals from another Summer Food Service site in the same week.
