Dance Team Recognitions

𝐑𝐡𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐦𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞

The Dance Team at Marion ISD is more than just performances; it’s a celebration of talent, dedication, and artistic expression. these remarkable students bring rhythm and grace to the stage, inspiring us with their energy and creativity. Through discipline and teamwork, they embody the art of dance and elevate our spirits.

Below are some of the accolades they have received:

At the Emeralds Team Competition in 2023, the Emeralds received Sweepstakes and a Judges Awards, meaning they got 90 points or higher from all three judges on all 4 dances. They also received Best in Category on their Kick routine and Best in Category on their Hip-Hop routine. Emma Wells, Emily Smith, Jordyn Hamilton and RayAnn Tucker all received Division 1 ratings on their solos!

In 2022, we had two soloists go to Nationals and Madisyn Alva placed 3rd and Maegan Lleverino placed in the top 10. We also had a trio and a duet go to Nationals. The duet placed 2nd and the trio placed 1st.

At Marion ISD – Krueger and Karrer Campus, the Watch D.O.G.S (Dads of Great Students) program stands as a symbol of active parental involvement and positive male role models. Dads, Grandfathers, and father figures come together to volunteer their time and energy, providing an extra layer of support and security in our schools. These dedicated individuals make a significant impact by contributing to a safer more nurturing learning environment.

At Marion ISD, our Future Farmers of America (FFA) program stands as a testament to dedication and agricultural excellence. Our FFA students consistently shine, earning recognition for their hard work, leadership, and commitment to agricultural education. Whether it’s winning awards, participating in community projects, or fostering a love for Ag, our FFA students define growth and success.

Livestock evaluation team – fourth in the Nation. – November 2023

Land judging team – Hunter Stevens, Garrett Mann, Emit Permenter and Alyssa Cox

Comal Guadalupe contest – 4th place team and Hunter Stevens was high individual

Bexar County contest – 3rd place team

Hill District contest – 2nd place team

Homesite team – Logan Ranslaben, Reece Schwab, Zane Gold, Hadley Mote and Mason Lott

Comal Guadalupe contest – 10th place team

Bexar County contest – 9th place team

Hill District contest – 9th place team

Livestock judging team – Mason Wurzbach, Brooke Reininger, Karlie Schneider and Kade Pape

Aksarben judging contest (Nebraska State Fair – Grand Island, Nebraska) – 7th place team, 5th in reasons

This same team will represent Texas FFA at nationals in November
