New Student Enrollment

• Use this link for all students who were not enrolled in Madison City Schools on May 22, 2024
• NO Returning students' applications will be accepted on the NEW student enrollment site.
• Please do not enroll for preschool until you have received notification from the preschool that your child has been accepted into the program.

Returning Student Online Enrollment

• Open through July 18th
• If your student was enrolled in Madison City Schools for the 2023-2024 school year AND is returning to Madison City Schools for the 2024-2025 school, please access the Re-enrollment application through your Parent Portal.
  •   Once logged into the PowerSchool Parent Portal, select the link RETURNING STUDENT ENROLLMENT 2024-2025 at the bottom of the navigation links on the left side. 
  • State law requires students to be 5 on or before September 1st* of the new school year to enroll in kindergarten. 
  • Also, state law requires that students be 6 on or before December 31st of the current school year to enroll in first grade. 

•  All registration for Madison City Schools is done exclusively online by the legal parent/legal guardian.
