100 Things to Do in Mississippi Before You Die, by Dori Lowe and Brandi Perry and published by Reedy Press, takes you on the backroads and byways of the Magnolia State as you taste the best cuisine, explore the natural beauty, experience the rich history, and shop the most unique stores across the state. The book offers seasonal itineraries to further enhance your enjoyment of your travels.
100 Things to Do in Mississippi Before You Die is part of the 100 Things to Do Before You Die series and is available wherever books are sold. Lowe and Perry will also hold a book signing on Saturday, November 4, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. in Downtown Monticello, as well as other scheduled signings at events across the state.
Dori Lowe is a lifelong Mississippian and a travel professional and Co-Owner for Backroads and Burgers, who captures everything that is the Magnolia State through her lenses. When not traveling, Dori's family keeps her busy on their farm. At NHAC, Lowe is GATE teacher, State Test Coordinator, cheer coach, School Improvement Team Coordinator, and a member of the Principal's Leadership Team.
Brandi Perry is the Co-Owner of Backroads and Burgers and is the author of four fictional novels. Her articles and stories have appeared in numerous travel magazines and newspapers throughout the southeast. At NHAC, Perry teaches Mississippi Studies, World Geography, and American History and serves as campus Athletic Director. She is also a member of the Principal's Leadership Team.
