Lawrence County High School Boys' Basketball Coach Pat Bridges has been named "Coach of the Year" by The Daily Leader newspaper. He has been working with the program for 14 years and is a former Cougar basketball player. Two of Bridges's players were also named to the 2022 Daily Leader All-Area Boys' Basketball Team- Jaheim Ball and Trey Jones.
