Meet Mr. Sullivan
Before being selected as the Baird Middle School Assistant Principal in August 2022, Mr. Sullivan had a very eclectic career in education that began twenty-one years ago following his 2001 graduation from Springfield College with a B.S. in Political Science.
In 20o1, he began his career as a social studies teacher at the Sabis International Charter School in Springfield before being tapped as the High School Assistant Principal, where he remained until 2007.
In 2007, he was hired as one of the Assistant Principals at Central High School in Springfield, where he remained until assuming the principalship at Glenbrook Middle School in Longmeadow in 2012.
In 2012, he also received his M.Ed. in Educational Administration from Springfield College.
In 2014, he returned to Springfield to assume the role of principal at Chestnut Middle School South, where he remained until transferring to the John J. Duggan Academy as the 8th & 9th-grade Assistant Principal.
Mr. Sullivan lives in Longmeadow with his wife and two sons, ages 12 and 14.
